When we opened Maison May over 20 years ago, we were among the first Brooklyn restaurants to champion seasonal, farm-driven food. We partnered with farmers and purveyors before “local” was a buzzword. We cooked with intuition and reverence for the ingredients. We hosted guests like they were family.
